Job Description
Brief
The camera sales position works in the retail locations under the Store Manager. Sales include direct communication with customers, assisting new customers with buying decision and supporting existing customers. Good people skills, product knowledge, and sales experience are required.
Duties
- Welcome customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
- Provide good Customer Service in the retail environment.
- Direct customers by providing information and benefits of products.
- Help customers make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
- Discuss benefits of accessories to improve product experience
- Document sale using Point of Sale system. Possibly update customer profile records to ensure current information
- Process payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, store credits or electronic funds
- Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise or potential interest.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing personal goals and store goals.
Skills/ Qualifications
- Listening, Customer Service, People Skills, High Energy Level, Selling to Customers Needs.
- Background in Photography or related fields, Product knowledge, interest in learning more about products.
- Verbal Communication, Basic Computer Skills, General Math Skills
